This lovely piece was made in the glass factory of Palme Konig established in the late 1700's. In the late 1800's they merged with Wilhelm Habels Elizabethhutte Glassworks and became known as Glasfabrik Elisabeth, Pallme- Konig and Habel.

They began making iridescent glass around 1900 and became known for their 'veined' glass. A random way of fusing glass threads around a vessel more often in a contrasting colour.

This vase has random pearl veins over an iridised green base with a polished pontil mark to the underside.  The top is tri folded. It is a very attractive piece.

The vase is fractured with a crack through the base. It will not hold water. However it does make a great display piece.

The vase is priced accordingly.

The vase measures approximately 180mm tall and around 80mm in diameter at the widest point.
