This lovely piece is in very good condition.
Having researched this piece we are of the opinion that is was made in the Bohemian Glass Factory of Kralik and is from the Corded Series in iridescent pearl glass with green threading.
The vase has a gorgeous semi opaque pearl glass with an iridescent finish finished with green threading around the mid section. The glass has a soft satin finish and a silken feel. When back lit the glass has a smokey golden hue.
The underside has a polished pontil mark from where the glass blowers rod was snapped when the piece was completed.
There are no chips or cracks to the piece. There is a sweep and curl of darker cream glass under the rim, this is not a crack but a fine trail of darker colour. This is shown.
The vase measures approximately 110mm tall and 180mm in diameter at the widest point.
