This beautiful brooch is made from New Zealand and feature an inlay of well figured Paua Shell to the sterling silver. The shell has been carefully carved to give detail to the design cutting through the layers of shell creating beautiful patterning for the wings.
There is a simple sprung hinge pin and C type catch. There is also a safety chain and pin for added security. The back of the brooch is stamped SIL STG for Sterling Silver.
There is no damage and the shell is full of colour and very glossy.
The butterfly brooch is 30mm x 22mm.
