These beautiful brooches are from New Zealand and feature an inlay of well figured Paua Shell to the sterling silver. The shell has been carefully carved to give detail to the designs cutting through the layers of shell creating exquisite patterns.
All three have a roll over safety catch and a sprung hinge. The back of the brooches are stamped Silver and the larger 2 have the bee mark for the company Ataahua. Ataahua means thing of great beauty in the indigenous language of New Zealand.
The brooches are simply beautiful.
There is no damage and the shell is full of colour and very glossy.
The smallest brooch is brooch is 35mm x 20mm. The abstract brooch is 30mm x 30mm and the large flower design brooch is 48mm x 50mm.
