This beautiful set is quite exquisite and features a fine porcelain orchid design in pink on a dark backing.
The set was made in Japan around 1940-1950 by the Toshikane company. They made porcelain buttons, figurines, cuff links, brooches and earrings as well as other items of jewellery.
Each is hand made and beautifully finished. The brooch is signed to the back as shown. The matching earrings are not signed. The backing appear to be silver plated and present as glossy and shiny.
There is no damage to any of the pieces and as can be seen present beautifully.
The brooch has a sprung hinge and a roll over safety catch. The earrings have screw fittings which work as they should.
The brooch is 34mm x 24mm. The earrings are 13mm across.
