This elegant setting was designed by famous Danish sculptor and designer Jens Harald Quistgaard. His designs became popular and heralded a new era in Scandinavian design as he designed functional items with clean lines and sculptural form. He became famous for his work with Dansk Designs where he was chief designer for 3 decades from 1954. This setting is an early design and would date to around the 1940-1950's.
The set comprises 6 elegant cake forks and a jam or cream spoon. All have fine scratches and usage marks but present beautifully.
This is a rare setting to find from this great designer in such good condition.
