This lovely piece of Art Glass was produced by Australian Glass Artist Robert Gatt and is signed with his signature to the underside of the base. His studio is in Port Fairy in Victoria.
The bowl has a lovely combination of the colours blue and purple with a hint of teal. The innermost section is opaque glass with wavy clear glass toward the rim with swirls of colour within it. It stands on a clear foot the underside of which is signed Robert Gatt.
There small air bubbles within the glass, The largest one of which is around 10mm across, the others are more like 2mm across. These are shown in photo 4.
The bowl is a 275mm across. There is no damage and no scratches.
