This stunning piece of Art Glass was produced by Australian Glass Artist Matt larwood and is signed with his signature to the underside of the base as shown.
Matt Larwood worked as a glass artist for 17 years and was Artistic Director at the Jam Factory in Adelaide for around 7 years during the 1990's. He no longer works with glass but still resides in Adelaide.
There is a polished pontil mark to the underside of the base where the glass blowing rod was snapped off after the piece was completed. The base is clear and allows the coloured section of the bowl to be shown at its best.
There is a very small and light scratch to the inside surface of the bowl as shown.
As can be seen this is feature piece.
The bowl is 100mm tall and 290mm across the widest part.
