This beautiful piece is in very good condition.
The ring is set with a large piece of natural turquoise with great figuring. The band is double splitting to support the turquoise at the top and bottom of the setting.
The setting is closed in at the back and the silver is stamped 900 for coin silver or an assay of 900 parts per thousand, a little below sterling at 925 parts per thousand. This assay was called coin silver and in use in the USA.
The ring is large and impressive.
It measures just over a size 0 but below a size 01/2.
The turquoise measures 35mm x 30mm. The setting is 7mm deep.
