This beautiful piece of Art Glass was Designed by Per Lutken for Holmegaard Glassworks, Denmark.
The series was called Najade and includes many shapes, forms and sizes and was first released in 1976 and continued in production until 1987. This particular piece is a footed bowl hollow to the inside base. Ideal as a small fruit bowl.
Each piece in the series is unique with a splashes of hand applied colours to one side in shades of pink, golden brown and green. The semi opaque white or opal glass is cased in clear.
The bowl or planter has no chips or cracks and is free from scratches too.
The piece stands 147mm tall and measures 165mm across the rim.
The piece is signed to the underside HG PL, making it an early piece dating to the 1970's.
