This beautiful set of 6 glasses is from the Ships series designed by Per Lutken in 1970 for Holmegaard, Denmark. These were the largest in the range and were made as a beer glass.
The glass maker for this series was Harald Hansen. The series was made over a period of years and most of the glasses are signed indicating they were made in the 1970's. These glasses are all original vintage Danish glass.
The crystal in these glasses is bright and clear and have the distinctive blue tinge Holmegaard are famous for. There is no damage to any of these glasses. There is no clouding from dishwasher use.
The glasses stand 153mm tall and measure 84mm across the rim.
