This beautiful lamp is in excellent condition with no damage.

Made in Denmark the base features a blue glaze over ceramic. The glaze has oxidized in the recesses of the design causing the colour to change to a gorgeous pale blue creating a contrast to the relief parts of the surrounds. The neck features the same blue colouring in a hares fur appearance.

The piece is marked Soholm Denmark Stentoj (stoneware), the pattern number 1012 and has the stylised Einar Johansen mark as well. Einar Johansen was a Danish ceramist who work for Soholm until 1968. The lamp base is a factory first.

The lamp has a new E27 fitting and has been completed with a new  PVC pleated shade imported from our manufacturer in Denmark.  The shade attaches to the bulb with a clip.  The fitting takes a standard E27 screw globe. All wiring has been redone and it has been safety tested and tagged.

The pottery base measures 180mm tall to the top of the ceramic and around 95mm across the widest part. The total height including the shade is 370mm. The lamp has an inline switch to the black coloured cord.

The lamp would be ideal for a bedside, side table or sideboard.

We have many vintage table lamps in store.

For International sales the cord will be cut short for new wiring to be installed by your electrician.
