This beautiful and striking lamp is in very good condition.
The piece is marked Soholm Stentog Denmark to the underside of the base. It also has the EJ monogram for designer Einar Johansen and the design number 1049.
The lamp features a caramel coloured glaze over an impressed leaf like design. The glaze has oxidised in the recesses of the design causing the colour to pool in tones of pale blue creating a contrast to the main body. The neck and base have been glazed in a band of dark brown.
The lamp has the original Danish fitting and has been completed with a new PVC white pleated shade. The shade clips onto the bulb. The fitting takes a standard E27 screw in globe.
All wiring has been redone and has been safety tested and tagged complying with Australian and New Zealand Standards.
The lamp measures 240mm tall to the top of the ceramic and around 440mm in total height. The lamp has a black cord with in line switch.
For International sales apart from New Zealand the cord will be cut short ready for rewiring to your own Country's standards.
