This elegant piece of Danish furniture would date to the 1960's. The desk is finished in teak veneer and features 6 drawers, solid teak cigar shaped legs and an open bookshelf to the back. This enables the piece to be placed in an open area with workspace to the front and storage to the back. The top has elegant curved solid teak uplifted lip edges to the back and sides. The sides of the desk are also curved.
The desk is in lovely condition with a few minor blemishes from use. The most notable is a faint drink ring to the top surface shown in close up in the last photo. The finish is lovely and has been refurbished using Howards Restore It.
There is an old sturdy and strong bracketed repair to one leg which is hidden from view.
The desk is 1300mm long x 670mm deep x 650mm tall.
