This elegant piece is in beautiful condition. It is a genuine vintage piece from Denmark and features a teak veneer finish with solid teak trim and circular recessed handles. The piece has 6 drawers which sit above sleekly designed solid timber base and legs. The front is bow fronted adding an elegant touch. It is well made and functions really well. The top drawer has a lock with the original key.
The finish to this piece is in good condition with only minor usage marks and fine scratches. The top edge to the second to bottom drawer has a small piece of veneer missing and has a wax infill in another spot. The drawers have dovetail joints with a teak veneer front over a multi ply base as shown. The second drawer has some veneer missing to the inside edge of the top of the drawer.
The teak has some lovely figuring with medullary rays here and there which catch the light and give a three dimensional effect to the timber.
The chest of drawers stands 1070mm tall and 780mm wide and 460mm deep.
