This elegant pair is in very good condition. The earrings are marked with a diamond French Makers mark used on high grade silver which we can see is for Charles Forgelot, active until 1928.
The earrings had screw fitting which were part broken and part missing. We have replaced the fittings with new sterling silver hooks.
We assume the silver assay to these was on the fittings, however the makers marks are clear enough and the earrings are high grade silver.
The earrings each have 2 suspended drops and are set with marcasites. There are no stones missing and no damaged stones.
The earrings measure 45mm from the top of the drop and are 7mm wide.
