This pair of vintage earrings is in beautiful condition.
The earrings are sterling silver hand set with marcasite stones. Each is marked to the back 'Sterling' and would date to around 1940.
The earrings have a lovely design with bead settings. This indicates a quality production with each stone individually set with 1 to 3 small tabs of silver from the base lifted up and over each stone. A very time consuming and dedicated task.
There are no missing or damaged stones and the clips have good working hinges. The entire pieces have been rhodium plated to give a long lasting tarnish free life.
The earrings are 17mm long and around 17mm wide.
