Klippan is a Swedish company with a long history in home textiles. All lambswool products are from New Zealand sheep and all the wool can be traced back to the individual farmer. Many of these are made from eco wool where the farmer has used ecological principles in the breeding and growth of his sheep. No pesticides have been used in the production of the wool nor any antibiotics or chemicals during the breeding of the sheep.
This particular blanket is partially made from Gotland wool which comes from a Swedish breed of sheep that has been herded since the Viking era. The wool is thick and silky to the touch.
