This elegant antique chain has long fancy links joined by large and thick chain links. It has a t bar to the centre and two dog clips to either end. The dog clips are both marked sterling. The large decorative links are marked S.S. for sterling silver in tyhe Australian manner. The T bar is stamped in the same manner.
Although originally this would have been a fob watch chain it is long enough and the links large enough to be worn as a short necklace on its own. When worn it sits at the hollow of my throat.
The chain is 380mm long. Each longer link is around 28mm long. The chain weighs 42.7gms.
