This pretty serving spoon is in the design called Hildesheimer Rose, created by Chris Widmann (Germany) in the 1920's. The Hildesheimer Rose has an interesting history that can be read via the following link
The beautiful rose design features on the finial with the rose stem continuing down the handle and extending onto the bowl. The bowl is leaf shaped and has a serrated edging.
A marking of 835 CW is to the back of the handle as shown.
The spoon has been used and shows fine scratches from use and polishing.
The spoon is 185mm long.
