This pretty butter knife is in the design called Hildesheimer Rose, created by Chris Widmann (Germany) in the 1920's. The Hildesheimer Rose has an interesting history that can be read via the following link
The beautiful rose design features on the finial with the rose stem continuing down the handle and extending onto the blade. A marking of " Germany Silver 835 " is to the back of the blade as shown.
The knife has no damage and is 131mm long.
