Designed for Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience by Kari Christensen this lidded pot or vase is part of the Tenera range. The colours are subtle blues and browns with a textured design and the piece is in excellent condition. This piece is clearly marked with the Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Factory Beehive backstamp for pieces made before 1969. It is also marked with the artist mark KC and 539/3435. It is a factory first.
Faience is a traditional form of tin-glazed ceramics... in this instance used for this beautiful range of art pottery known as 'Tenera'.
The vase is 180mm tall x 90mm across the base.
