Designed for Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience by Marianne Johnson this dish is part of the Tenera range. It features a gorgeous stylised motif in blue and purple glaze. The colours are bright and the piece is in excellent condition. This piece is clearly marked with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp for pieces made between 1969-1974. It is also marked with the artist mark MJ. It is also marked 174/2883.
Faience is a traditional form of tin-glazed ceramics... in this instance used for this beautiful range of art pottery known as 'Tenera'.
There is no damage or faults to this lovely piece.
The bowl or dish is 170mm across and 33mm tall.
