Designed for Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience by Kari Christiansen this bowl is part of the Tenera range. It features a gorgeous stylised floral motif with birds. The colours are bright and clear and the piece is in excellent condition. This piece is clearly marked with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp for pieces made between 1975-1979. It is also marked with the artist mark KC. It is also marked 144/2885.
Faience is a traditional form of tin-glazed ceramics... in this instance used for this beautiful range of art pottery known as 'Tenera'.
