This beautiful piece is in excellent condition.
The teapot was designed for Royal Copenhagen Art Pottery or Aluminia Faience in the era of 1969-1974. It features a quirky bird motif to the front and back in raised ceramic or relief.
The artist was Doreen Middelboe well known for her figurines and water colours.
This particular piece is a rarity and is in perfect condition and is a factory first.
The brown glaze has a greenish tinge around the rim and motifs, is glossy and without fault.
We would estimate it is 4 person teapot.

The teapot stands 170mm to the top of the lid and measures 240mm from spout to handle. The belly is around 140mm across.
