Designed for Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience by Bert Jessen this vase is part of the Tenera range. It features a gorgeous stylised floral motif in blue and purple glaze. The colours are bright and clear and the piece is in excellent condition. This piece is clearly marked with the Royal Copenhagen backstamp for pieces made between 1975-1979. It is also marked with the artist mark BJ. It is also marked 436/3121.
Faience is a traditional form of tin-glazed ceramics... in this instance used for this beautiful range of art pottery known as 'Tenera'.
