This pair is in very good condition.
This easy chairs were manufactured by Danish Company Farstrup, in the model called Miljo. It is the high back version. The chairs features a dark stain timber bentwood frame and a dark brown coloured loose leather cushions. The chairs have seen use and the leather has an aged patina with a few scuffs here and there. All of which is acceptable and shows a lived in look to the leather. One chair has some fissures to the top surface of the leather to the head rest and one to the side of the base cushion. These have been well nourished and the leather is supple and both are shown. The other chair has no such marks. The canvas supports for the cushions are attached to the frame with leather tabs.
The cushion is firm and supportive with resilience in the foam.
The cushions can be removed for cleaning and sits loosely in the chair but held tightly in place by the arms. The backs of the chairs have horizontal slats as can be seen.
