The chairs were made by Mogens Hansen in Denmark. Mogens Hansen is renown for high quality finely made furniture with good attention to detail.
The bentwood frame is a light coloured finely laminated beech. The leather is a caramel colour.
Beyond the beautiful patina of the leather, the engineering is where these truly shine. The use of the laminated beech allows for the elegant thin profiles without compromising on stability. Supported by heavy duty linen, they are sturdy today as when they left the workshop in Denmark.
The lived in leather cushions show many years of use showing patina that just cannot be replicated.
The high backed seats come with a head rest cushion that attaches via straps that goes over the top of the chair and secure with studs to the back.
The comfort of these chairs is not compromised by the elegant design.
The chair measures 105cm tall, 63cm in width and 85cm deep.
