These interesting pieces are in very good condition.
They were created by New Zealand artist Nga Waiata and are early pieces. She now resides in the United Kingdom and uses local timber such as oak and striped pine.
The brass chain to the necklace has been threaded with coloured strands of wool in green and blue. The bright pink polished stones, possibly dyed agate, are attached to wooden backing.
These are pre-loved pieces and the chains have dulled over time. The woollen threads are secure with two places where tufts are showing past the line of the chain.
The pendant is 60mm x 40mm. The woven chain is 460mm long.
The bracelet features a Lapis Lazuli stone and surrounded by brass balls and two pearls attached to a wooden disc. The brass belcher chain secures with a parrot clasp. The bracelet is 250mm in length.
Nga Waiata has her own shop in the UK.
