This piece was hand thrown on a pottery wheel and hand finished in a thick red glaze. The lower section and inside of the light unglazed. The spiral finger marks from the potter are clearly seen to the inside where he has 'pulled' the clay to form the shape.
There is no damage and no repairs. The original lamp holder has been retained and rewired to Australian standards. New brown cloth coloured cord has been fitted and the light is ready to be hard wired by your electrician. The lamp holder takes a standard Edison screw E27 bulb.
The pottery light is 200mm across the base and measures around 260mm tall and the length of chord is over 2 metres long.
The shade, lamp holder and cord will all be included for Australian & New Zealand purchasers. As mentioned the light will need hard wiring by an electrician.
For International sales the cord will be cut short but the bulb holder retained.
