This stylish Danish setting was made by the Copenhagen Spoon Factory Amager, Denmark. The trade mark used by the company for their silver plate pieces was DANA. Each of the silver plated pieces is marked to the back with the Danish quality torch mark used c1950.
We have found that the quality of Danish silver plate cutlery is very high. The silver plating is thick and pieces wear extremely well. The patterns are timeless in their appeal and so different from other designs generally found in Australia. We just love them.
The design is a diagonal criss cross pattern with faint infill patterning to the central diamonds. It is called Harlekin, or to us Harlequin.
The set comprises an 6 teaspoons. Each spoon measures 118mm long.
The silver plate to these pieces is in very good condition with some minor and light usage scratches. There is no wear through to the plating or corrosion spots.
