This beautiful pendant is in very good condition.
The large piece of polished amber is highly polished and set with an open back. The solid silver setting features a leaf, berry and tendril design. Although not marked we give a money back guarantee this piece is solid high grade silver.
We are of the opinion that the pendant is reconstituted amber where the amber is heated and the dirt and grit removed leaving behind any other inclusions.
The disc like inclusions seen are typical of reconstituted amber where the amber has cooled at different temperatures. These are called spangles.
There is no damage to this lovely piece.
The pendant is 48mm long not including the bale. It measures 62mm in total length. It is 35mm at the widest point. The large bale to the top will take a chain or leather cord.
The pendant weighs 22.6gms.
