This beautiful Danish cutlery set is in very good condition and is in the design called Gitte.
It was designed by O.V Mogensen for Horsens Silverware Workshop.
There are 10 dinner forks (195mm), 5 dinner knives (215mm) and 5 dinner spoons (200mm). The knives alone sell in Denmark for around the $40 each.
Each is marked to the back OM and have the silver plate quality mark used after 1932. These would date to the 1960's.
There are fine scratches from use but no silver plate loss from wear. There is small spot loss the plating at the edges of the forks as shown. We sometimes see this on cutlery and we think it is something to do with the way the piece were plated.
