This elegant selection is in the pattern called Cheri, produced by Frigast Denmark. Frigast were taken over by Gense around 1980.
The pieces are marked Frigast Denmark and have the quality torch mark for silver plate used after 1932. The setting would have been designed around 1960.
We have found that the quality of Danish silver plate cutlery is very high. The silver plating is thick and pieces wear extremely well. The patterns are timeless in their appeal and so different from other designs generally found in Australia. We just love them.
The selection comprises 12 dessert spoons, a single large table spoon, 4 dinner forks and a jam spoon.
Although used the pieces present really well with fine usage scratches. There is no wear and no loss of silver plate. The plating is bright and reflective.
