This brooch is in very good condition.
The brooch is stamped to the back with Beau ( this mark is partial only.) and 925.
Beau Sterling started in 1947 and was situated on Rhode Island USA and manufactured a lot of sterling silver jewellery.
The brooch is finely made with a well finished design. There is a roll over safety catch and straight pin. The piece has been rhodium plated which a lot of Beau Sterling was. This was done ironically to preserve the finish, however this often wore away leaving a the silver beneath to tarnish. There is some wear to the rhodium plating to the back.
The brooch is 35mm x 39mm.
