This striking piece is fully signed to the back of the bale with initials that look like D D W. We are confident the piece is an Australian hand crafted piece. It is also stamped 925 for sterling silver.
We have not been able to identify the maker.
The pendant is hinged and set with 3 graduated open back polished cabochons of Onyx in a very similar manner to those made in Mexico. In fact when first seen we thought is was Mexican. The bale is slightly open to the back so it can slide over a chain or cord.
The back of the sturdy bale is signed as mention above.
The pendant has been set on a 4mm wide Italian sterling silver Omega Chain.
The pendant is 72mm long x 30mm wide. The chain is 455mm long.
