This beautiful jam spoon is in very good condition.
This spoon was made by New South Wales Silversmith, Laurel Gorn. Laurel joined the Society of Arts and Crafts of NSW. Her active years were 1956-1970.
The spoon is marked to the back of the handle Stg Sil and Gorn.
This particular spoon features a motif of a single Geralton Wax bloom to the finial with an open work design to the handle. The bowl of the spoon has a beaten finish and is shaped like a fat teardrop.
The spoon is 117mm long. It weighs 18.7gms.
This is a rare piece as Laurel Gorns pieces are difficult to find.
