This beautiful piece is quality heavy cut crystal decanter.
The piece is signed to the underside of the foot Edinburgh Made in Scotland. This mark was used after 1950 until around the late 1970's. It also retains it stickers.
The piece has a diamond cut pattern with fine cross hatching in fill and fan cuts to the top of the design. The neck is panel cut with two horizontal cuts. The stopper is facet cut and shows no damage. The underside of the base is star cut.
The decanter looks as new. We are of the opinion it has sat in a cupboard and never been used. The only marks are a few extremely light rub marks to the underside of the base.
The decanter is 350mm tall to the top of the stopper. The base is 100mm across.
