This lovely spoon is well hallmarked for Edinburgh and the year 1846. The makers mark is for well known Scottish silversmith William Ferguson.

The spoon has good form and is in the fiddle back design. The bowl is deep and shovel shaped.

The monogram is beautifully engraved with the letter A.

There is no damage to this lovely spoon. There are only fine scratches from use.

The ladle is around 155mm long and weighs 24.5gms.
