This chair is in very good condition.
The high-backed chair is of generous proportions and the beautifully streamlined curves create an impressive design statement.
Made by Skipper Mobler of Denmark, it was designed by Finn Ostergaard and produced in the 1970's. The label reads Original Albert Serie 2800. It is nice to have a label as these are often without any.
The bentwood frame is a light coloured laminated bentwood in beech. The woollen upholstery is elegantly finished with an insert of leather trim.
The high backed seat comes with a head rest cushion that attaches via two leather straps as shown.
The woollen fabric is a blue / green which is very hard to capture. The photos make the fabric look plain blue but in fact the colour is a blue teal. Under the head rest it can be seen the fabric has darkened from being covered.
The chair measures 98cm tall, 63cm in width and 81cm deep.
