This beautiful lamp is in excellent condition with no damage.
Made in Denmark the base features a blue and tan glaze over a stoneware base. The blue and tan colours mix creating a lovely green hares fur glaze.
The piece is marked with the Soholm ceramics mark and also Hasel. Soholm and Hasle were owned by the same company and often produced designs that were replicated at each pottery. Famous designer and architect Ebsen Le Klint designed a few pieces for Hasle to be sold in Illums Boligus in Copenhagen. This is one such lamp and is signed LK for Ebsen Le Klint.
The lamp has the original Danish fitting with switch and has been completed with a new PVC white pleated Danish shade. The shade sits on a Danish lamp rack. The fitting takes a standard E27 screw globe. All wiring has been redone and it has been safety tested and tagged.
The pottery base measures 290mm tall and around 200mm across the widest part of the base. The total height including shade is 540mm. The lamp has a white cord.
The lamp would be ideal for a side table, desk or sideboard.
For International sales the cord will be cut short for new wiring to be installed by your electrician.
