This delightful piece is in very good condition. The brooch features a frog in the act of jumping.
The brooch is an Australian piece signed ph in a circle and Stg Sil in the Australian manner. The artist is Pat Hagen, a South Australian who made Silver Jewellery during the late 1900's early 2000's. As far as we know she is now retired and well into her 80's and living at Goolwa.
The piece has no damage or repairs and presents beautifully. There are fine scratches to the surface from use, but these are insignificant. There is a rollover safety catch clasp to the back and a sterling silver pin.
The brooch is 65mm x 40mm.
