This beautiful pair was made by the Gero Silver Workshop in Copenhagen. This was a branch of Gero set up by Georg Nilsson in 1926 and which closed in the early 1930's.

The pieces are also marked with the twin tower mark indicating the set was made prior to 1928. This gives us a short window of production time between 1926-1928.

The silver plate is in extremely good condition and has polished up beautifully. There is no corrosion, wear or pitting. The lids fit to the ground top of the blue glass and fit securely.

The blue glass liners are also in good condition with one only having a small flaked chip to the rim as shown. This is hidden beneath the push on lid.

One blue glass liner can be easily removed from the silver outer, the other is securely in place.

The salt and pepper shakers are 75mm tall and 35mm across the base.
