This lovely piece is marked with the Danish maker's mark of the Bishop Absalon for the Copenhagen Spoon Factory. It is also marked with the Danish twin tower mark for silver plate used from 1890-1927.
The ladle is in the Danish design called Antik Rococo and features an ornate engraved design with traditional Scandinavian banding and a modified trefoil finial. The ladle was designed for use with pouring cream.
The ladle is in lovely condition with a small blemish to the back.
