This beautiful and elegant antique bangle is in very good condition.
The cuff bangle or bracelet would date to the 2nd half of the 19th century. The piece has a box clasp and a pin hinge both typical of Victorian era bangles. There are no markings to this piece which is not unusual for Australian jewellery as there has never been and still isn't a requirement to mark precious metals.
The bangle has two decorative rows of tiny rope edged circles set within rose gold borders which in turn are also edged with fine rope borders.
There are fine scratches and tiny marks from use and faint indents to the back as shown. There is one tiny circle that is missing its centre also shown. There is no damage to the silver.
The hinge is form and the clasp secures well.
The bangle is 63mm x55mm x 19mm wide.
