This lovely vase is a rarity. I have not been able to find another.
The vase has a semi polished pontil to the underside of the base. The rims are free form and have a rough texture to the underside. The colour of the glass is beautiful with iridescent blue to the top and an opalescence to the lower part with an iridescent finish.
The base is thick.
Initially I thought it was Bohemian and I am now not sure. The shape and finish is quite distinctive and I have not been able to find another similar.
There is no damage to the piece.
The vase is 165mm tall and 180mm across the top.
