This set of 8 of Danish glasses is in lovely condition.
The glasses were designed by iconic designer Jacob Bang in 1942 and feature a solid black base and a clear green glass bowl. The design is called 'sort fods' (black foot) Ranke.
There were several designs in the sort fods range this one is called Ranke and features an elegant cut leaf design below the rim.
The glasses are really lovely and very Art Deco in appearance. Although designed as a white wine glass they are quite small for this use.
There is no damage to any of the glasses. The glasses were produced over a long time period and some of the glasses are signed HG to the underside.
They stand 100mm tall and measure 56mm across the rims. They hold 200mls when filled to the brim.
