This set of 6 of Danish glasses is in lovely condition.
The glasses were designed in 1938 for Holmegaard at the Kastrup Glassworks and feature a solid black base and a clear glass bowl. The design is called 'Lis' or as we would say Liz. Liz was made with both an amber foot and a black foot and has an elegant floral cut pattern around the bowl.
The glasses are really lovely and very Art Deco in appearance. The clear glass is slightly tinged so it has a black hue to it. This can be seen in the photos.
There is no damage to any of the glasses.
They stand 115mm tall and measure 75mm across the rims. They hold 275mls when filled to the brim.
