This adorable figurine was designed by Erik Neilsen for Royal Copenhagen.
The figurine is large, standing 20cm tall and is almost life size. He is marked with the royal Copenhagen back stamp with a dash under the Y in Royal Copenhagen dating him to 1952. He is marked with the pattern number 259 and variation 1492.
There is a score through the three wavy lines so this piece is a factory second. We cannot determine the reason for this marking, he looks perfect to us.
The puppy is 200mm tall. There are no chips or cracks or other faults.
