This pair was designed for Royal Copenhagen Aluminia Faience in 1959 by Ingvar Olsen.
The deep bowls are in the range called Pyrolin and are an oven proof ceramic. They are not often seen. These are marked 2779.
There were 3 colours, black with a gold rim as these are, burgundy and a deep green, all with a glossy milky white interior.
Both bowls have been used. One shows some small brown spots to rim as photographed and both show some light wear to the gold rim, also shown. There are a few light scratches but no wear to the ceramic with the interiors being glossy and smooth.
There are no chips or cracks.
The bowls are 10mm tall and 230mm across. Each weighs around the 700gm mark.
